I was an education abroad advisor and my responsibilities included hosting and planning events to increase interest in abroad involvement. I advised over 300 students in researching appropriate programs for their majors and organizing their future semester classes.
In addition, I was an administrative intern in Colombia where I coordinated with professors and administration to create a schedule of classes and workshops to provide art lessons for over 1,000 children and adults in the surrounding community. I assisted professors in teaching various painting techniques through demonstrations and providing feedback and taught 30 residents basic English language concepts to help improve their oral communication with tourists.
