Dear Sir / Madam

I am seeking an practicum/ internship position in your facility and I am enclosing my resume for your review. I have relocated to Florida and am seeking a full-time position within your company.
As outlined in my resume, I have over ten years experience working hands-on with developmentally disabled adults as well as hospital patients. I have compassion as well as the strength to supervise, advise, and oversee their care with actual results. I am very resourceful, hard working, and able to adapt to any situation within the community.
I am most proud of my time spent with St. Clare’s Hospital. There I was trained to become a Patient Care Associate. I worked with patients on all levels with a team of co-workers. My Psychology Degree has enabled me to reach people on all levels and work with them to gain positive results.
At Brooklyn Community Services, I worked diligently with the developmentally disabled community. My role as a Community Hab Specialist and a group leader provided direct support for people with disabilities. This enhanced their level of independency such as traveling, helping them with money management, domestic skills and more. I also wrote value outcome goals for the consumers.
It is with this background and experience that makes me confident that I am the perfect candidate for this position with your company. I would appreciate the opportunity to speak with you about my work experience and show how my skills could contribute to the successful day-to-day operation being part of your company. I would be happy to supply references at your request.
Thanking you in advance for your time and consideration.
Sincerely,
Marie Pradieu
