Project Experience: Sophomore year-end capstone project assignment: Create a lifelike design using texture and colors.
?For this assignment, each student was tasked with a semester-long project that incorporated the disciplines from our DES101 design class. It began with a proposal, a mock-up of the final product and a statement of design. I designed the interior of a restaurant, starting with a floorplan in sketchup then moving to photoshop to add color, texture and detail. Grade Achieved: A

Employment History:
May 2017 – September 2018: Beach Security - Town of Atlantic Beach, Atlantic Beach, NY
Village employee entrusted to confirm the identification of residents credentialing for admission onto the private beaches and to report any potential safety violations/concerns.

May 2013 – September 2017: Assistant Manager – Silver Point Beach Club, Atlantic Beach, NY
Hired as a cashier initially and over time worked the various positions within the cafeteria including the deli and grill. Promoted to Assistant Manager which included the duties for inventory management and assisting with the training of new employees.

Volunteerism:
January 2016 – January 2016: Camp Counselor – Camp Anchor, Lido Beach, NY
Camp Anchor provides camp services to children with various disabilities. This experience provided me with an opportunity to engage with various clients in activities ranging from games, art, and field trips. It provided an opportunity to begin to learn A.S.L. (American Sign Language) which influenced me to study further in college.
