Intern at the Canadian Muslim Vote | 2019
• Acted as a community organizer in the London, Ontario and Windsor, Ontario Community to encourage Muslim voters to be civically engaged and spoke to people about the barriers they faced to going out to vote
• Ran a social media influencer campaign with over 20 influencers reaching a total of 900,000 followers combined about the message of being civically engaged
• spoke at various events and mosques to people about voting

Fundraising Coordinator at the Do-Good Divas | 2019
• Worked as a Fundraising Coordinator for a local non-profit than ran a charity purse auction every year
• All proceeds collected from the events went towards purchasing a van (valued at $35000) for the Windsor- Essex branch of the Canadian Mental Health Association and towards nourishment chairs (valued at $8000) for the neonatal unit at the Windsor Regional Hospital

Student Trustee, Greater Essex County DSB (City of Windsor) | 2018 - 2019
• Represented 36,000 students in the GECDSB at the board table with elected trustees
• Organized the GECDSB Annual Leadership Conference (200+ attendees)
• Collaborated with Student Senators to organize many community goodwill initiatives (e.g., giving flowers to the elderly, sponsoring a teenager for Christmas via the Children’s Aid Society for Christmas and initiated a community beach clean-up)

Junior Team Canada, International Trade Mission in China | 2018
• Selected from hundreds of youth leaders all over Canada as one of 20 Canadian delegates on an Economic Trade Mission to China
• Represented St. Clair college and an E-commerce startup in China by marketing these organizations and creating contacts for them in China
• Met with businesses and organizations in China for my sponsors (St. Clair and E-commerce startup) to learn more about economics and international business practices

Windsor Islamic Association Board Contributor | 2018
• Youngest member of the 14 person Public Relations and Media Team
• Helped organize 2 debate forums for the 2018 provincial and municipal elections; also organized an interfaith dinner
• The goal of the debate forum was to increase voter turnout and eliminate stigma concerning voting in immigrant communities
• The goal of the interfaith dinner was to connect people across 20 various religions and bring them together to respectfully share ideas and a meal
