Developed effective interpersonal skills through one-on-one tutorials, became efficient in understanding instructions and mastering new formatting and citation information, and cultivated an interest in constant learning and growth.

Individually focused and translated doctors’ orders, instructions, and questions to Spanish- speaking patients. Group-setting outreach program with 6th grade students in Utah Valley, aimed at combating childhood obesity, promoting healthy living, and encouraging the pursuit of higher education through the teaching of anatomy and basic nutrition. Created unique and inclusive lesson plans and activities, worked with young students on the weekly basis, and collaborated with peers on ideas and concepts taught. Developed patience with learning new skills and methods and working with others in a synergistic manner.

Worked on a one-on-one basis with Dr. Peter Kuhl, M.D., attending patient appointments, sonograms/ultrasounds, vaginal births, cesarean sections, and post-menopausal management. In addition to practical skills developed, like open communication skills and the ability to be flexible, Dr. Kuhl took time to personally teach characteristics like charity, compassion, and kindness to all patients, regardless of their social or economic situation.
