Started a mentoring program with local Somerville elementary school to promote excitement and empowerment surrounding STEM careers and areas of study in 5th and 6th grade girls.

Assists with clinical trials and data collection of rare metabolic diseases in BCH’s Genetics and Metabolism division.

Studied heart regeneration patterns, and brain dependence for proper embryogenesis, in South African xenopus laevis frogs.

Summer 2019 - Present
Collaborates with Tufts University Medical students at the free Project S.H.A.R.E. clinic offered every Tuesday at local community centers. Responsibilities involve: taking vitals, submitting and organizing patient intake forms. Patient population is mainly pediatric.

2. Member/ tufts timmy global health travel team
2018-2019
Served as a member on the Tufts chapter of Tufts Timmy Global Health. We traveled to Xela, Guatemala in January 2019 to open week-long clinics in local areas in need of medical care, as part of Timmy Global Health’s continuous care model.

Helps Project S.H.A.R.E. (volunteer program of Tufts Medical School) with fundraising and outreach for public health awareness in the community.
