CONSTRUCTION
Soul Fire Farm Builder’s Immersion:

A carpentry immersion workshop in which we
constructed a single floor cabin and loft used
to house farmhands workers during season. I
was part of a small team responsible for
creating cut lists from the drawings, measuring
and cutting lumber. Leveling the concrete
floor slab. Assembling the stick frame,
sheathing, and rafters together.

URBAN LANDSCAPING
Urban Farm Gathering:

A RISD course in partnership with RISD and
local non-profits in the Southside of
Providence. Met and worked with community
members and organizations. Developed
landscaping designs for planter beds and
street art. Constructed and assembled planter
beds on site. Planted flowers and trees along
the sidewalk and painted the street with
community members.

NET ZERO HOUSING
Sheridan Small Homes:

A RISD course tasked with designing a net-zero
carbon home in partnership with local
affordable housing organizations. Met and
worked with community members and
contractors. Assisted in the conceptual development
of the project. Oversaw model making and
energy use analysis. Utilized WUFI, a PHIUS
program, to design the home to meet Passive
Haus standards
