Good morning,
I'm Cristina Selene D’Avila, italian woman. I’ve got a regular 6 months working holiday visa and my will would be working as guide (tour/environmental/whale watching guide). Here you have some informations about me: my main studies are Natural Sciences (bachelor’s degree, University of Milan, 101/110) and Anthropological and Ethnological Sciences (master’s degree, Bicocca University, Milan, 108/110). I can fluently speak english (spent one year in Australia), french and spanish, but I can also speak just a bit of german and portuguese (basic level). I also attended different courses and did differents jobs. All this gave me good working team skills, but I also learned to manage indipendently different kind of situations, showing good relationship and talking skills, good organization and technical abilities and problem solving skills. I think being pretty good to understand what a person wants or needs and I like to do it. I can also hard work, for example in stressed situations. As my main job in Italy, I've got a lot of experience as environmental didactic guide and outdoor education (you will find all the references inside the resume) in different conservation wildlife parks, working with children and adults both, using a hand-on method and I'm a follower of permaculture principles too. I worked as tour guide in Norway and as marine biologist, snorkeling guide, tour guide and customer care in Athuruga island (Maldives). I also have more than ten years of experience about retail sales.
I already lived, worked and travelled abroad (Spain, Peru, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Maldives, Australia, Europe) and I love to stay in contact with nature (go for hiking above all) and to know more about people and their culture.
About certificates: I've got an international manual car driving licence (in Italy it's B licence that means that I can drive till 9 people), but I can also drive the automatic one. I have the boat licence (offshore waters, powered and sail water craft for recreational purposes). I did first aid course but more than 10 years ago, so I'm avalaible to do it again (as I’m willing to do the marine first aid certificate and any kind of certificate required). Computer skills certificate (word, power point, outlook).
