Summary:
I’m just one filmmaker in this world out of many. I do have experience by helping other film students with their film capstones and even making films of my own. I am a person who is responsible, service driven, and hardworking. I am multi-task-oriented, a quick learner, and am a team player. I can tell you many things about myself that maybe you would or would not like to hear or probably don’t even care about. To be honest, I know how hard it is to even get a job in a film industry. However, I do have a passion for filmmaking and want to work alongside talented filmmakers as well.I want different positions in the film industry to learn and better the skills I need for film editing and production so I can apply it to my own films as a filmmaker. If you give me a chance I can prove to you my work ethic not through words, but through action.

Jobs
In the spring semester of 2018 at CSU Monterey Bay, I was offered a fellowship position at the Service Learning Institute. My duties as a fellow was to create 3 videos that enlightened the Service Learning Institute (SLI) and how important is to have at our university. The first video was an overview of the SLI, the second video was about the student leaders at SLI and what community partners they work with. The 3rd video was about a course base student leader and about her experience teaching students in her SLI course. My supervisors were Frank Gidney and Pamela Motoike. Their emails are ------------ and ------------ if you want more information on how I fulfilled my job duties.
In the summer of 2018, I got a job at EPA Center Arts where I was a film teacher to students from the 5th through 7th grade.. Through this summer program, I was able to build such a great connection with my future young filmmakers. I taught the process of what goes into making a film then helped my students go the process and make their own films by the end of the program. My Supervisor was Scape Martinez and Manager was Wen Yu. Their emails are ------------ and ------------ if you want more information on how I fulfilled my job duties at this program.
From September of 2018 through February 2019 I was a videographer for DALI EXPO Museum where I filmed the exemplary works of Salvador Dali and also different artist works at the museum. My manager was Kaitlin Racacho. Her gmail is ------------.
Documentaries
Made a 3 minute film documentary on the "Black Lives Matter" movement. In this film, I did all the producing, cinematography, sound recording, and editing.
Made an 8 minute documentary about this awesome guy who everyone calls "Al", full name Alvin Seikart. Al has been devoting his life to a Sunday Breakfast for the homeless or hungry every single Sunday since 2015. The whole breakfast is run off of donation money that they collects by going to different farmers markets. This documentary follows his week and how everyday is a preparation for this breakfast, then the actual day of the breakfast.
Also was a sound recorder and film editor for a group film project for my Intro to Video film class. Film called "The Writer".
Wedding Videos
I also edited my sister's wedding and reception video. The footage was shot by hired cinematographers, but they took so many hours of footage that they didn't want to go through and edit. They also didn't know how to organize the film because they do not know how Indian weddings work. So they gave my sister all the footage and she asked me to make it. Also made bloopers haha.
Student Capstone Films
I was an actress in Chris Baron’s student capstone called “A Dark Blessing”. I played a wrestler woman elf who was trying to kill an elvine with my partner. I learned how to stage fight and express emotions throughout the fight. Worked on this film for a total of 36 hours.
I was a sound mixer/ editor for Maddelain Castro’s film “Matthew: The Kid”. I helped sound mix her background music wit the dialogue in the film. Also helped with volume adjusted and make the volumes equal for all parts of the dialogue. Worked on her sound for a total of 9 hours.
I was a key grip/ grip/ gaffer for Marcus Chan’s film “ The Other Side”. I helped the director check his film equipment in and out. I also helped him set up and was a grip on set. I also did gaffing for a few scenes in the film.
I was a make up artist of Julian Ross's film "Plie" which is about a young man whose dad wants him to be a body builder and compete, however the young man wants to be a dancer.
Environmental Films

I made an environmental film called "Baby Spoon". This film was made to emphasize the shortness of usage for plastic utensils and how they stay in the environment and pollute it. I made the spoon become alive and a character to make people have more empathy for it.
Music
I was the pianist in a jazz/ R&B band called H2O (Hip Hip Orchestra), which got a lot of gigs and even performed at the Warfield Theater in San Francisco. Our hit song is called "My Home". Was in the band from 2013-2015.
My Musical Capstone Film "Stay"

In the fall semester for 2018, I did all the pre-production work for my film "Stay" which is a short musical film that is about a lesbian couple that try to work through their relationship while dealing with outside factors. In the spring semester of 2019, I filmed my film with an amazing cast and crew that helped make this film possible. In my film, I wanted to normalize queer society and not shown the stereotypes about them shown in our media. Another objective to for me was showing more inclusivity with diverse women with different backgrounds.
