ID TECH Irvine, California
Instructor June 2018 to Aug. 2018
Managed groups of students from the ages of 10-12. Taught the students basic coding concepts and standard coding practices. Assisted the students in building their own websites using HTML, CSS. Debugged code using Chrome's console. Prepared lesson plans for each day and stuck to a schedule.

PROJECTS
2D PLATFORMER (GROUP) Feb. 2019 to Current
Wrote a script that would create the effect known as parallax. Scripted a simple grappling hook that used ray-casting to determine if the hook attached to anything. Used Unity's joint component to create a swinging effect for the grappling hook. Programmed a spotlight that moves and reacts to the player colliding with it.

RESTAURANT FINDER WEB APP (INDIVIDUAL) Apr. 2019 to May 2019
Built a web app that uses the Yelp Fusion and Google Maps APIs to display local restaurants in the user's area or an area specified by the user. The app uses the Vue.js framework and the Materialize CSS framework to build the user interface. Uses local storage to store the last search term and all searches are saved to a Firebase database. Used Google's Geolocation API to convert coordinates into a standard address and vice versa. The app also uses Google's directions API to draw a route from one specified point to the currently selected restaurant based on the form of transportation that the user has selected.

WEB GAME (INDIVIDUAL) Apr. 2017 to May 2017
Built an experimental game for the web utilizing JavaScript and the Pixi.js graphics library. Built and designed a simple website to host the game on. Documented the process of making the game and provided links to the documentation from the page that the game is featured on.

ASTEROIDS CLONE (INDIVIDUAL) Sept. 2017 to Oct. 2017
A clone of the classic game, "Asteroids", made in Unity. Used vectors to keep track of the forces acting upon the player character and determine movement. Bullets fired by the player inherited the player's velocity. The collision system was manually programmed using AABB (Axis-Aligned Bounding Boxes).
