Nerdism is a site that has gained over 32 million individual clicks and is backed up by strong social media accounts. This allows for the work on Nerdism to be shared easier and gain the likes of much more different social media users. Nerdism's goal is to make original and copy written content that pulls in views from all across the web.

My position at Nerdism allows me to create compelling and original content based on viral topics of the moment. I create original content, copy written content, and have written up to 3 articles daily while there.

Written a number of different and varied articles for the website that includes writing and editing my own work.
Upon request for a quick article about something current I completed the work of a 500-word article in less than 15 minutes.

Black Diamond Digital Media April ‘15 - September ‘16

Black Diamond Digital Media is a business that puts YOUR business first. Services allowed this company to host a client’s social media page and website, posting popular topics that were SEO based and revolving around popular trends to reach the highest viewership.

During my time with Black Diamond Digital Media, I wrote for multiple websites, provided different and varied content each day and performed on-point management of the social media profiles for each website. I also interacted with other social media platforms, managing and partnering with them to not only boost popularity to the client’s page but to the partner’s page as well.

Wrote different articles for 3 of the websites daily, averaging about 6 - 10 articles a day.
Created Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages for a client’s websites. Kicked them off, sharing different articles and posts that would link back to the original page, gaining more traffic.
Managed in total 7 different websites at once, including people that were currently being services at Black Diamond Digital Media.
Effectively held onto traffic when Facebook reorganized for pages were seen on one’s timeline.

The Western Carolinian October ‘13 - March ‘15

A school-oriented newspaper for Western Carolina University, a popular newspaper that combated with the local county newspaper and neighboring county newspaper. Although only a school newspaper, the paper was delivered to multiple places around the country and outside of town, generating as many readers as the local newspaper.

As Editor-In-Chief for The Western Carolinian, I managed other writers and had their papers passed along to me, to edit, organize and upload to our site’s, which included a website, Facebook and Instagram account for the pictures hosted in the paper. I showed leadership in this role and delivered a consistent message through the social media sites that aligned with each article and focused on capturing the attention of students AND townspeople around the country.

I’ve written and edited multiple articles for The Western Carolinian, all between 1,000+ to 1,500+ words.
Directly worked with the editor-in-chief, managing a staff of 15+ people, all with varying skills to bring together to make a uniformed paper.
Hosted The Western Carolinian site, Facebook page and Instagram account, all creating appropriate tags and upholding a social media marketing standard that brought in more attention for our paper.

Full Spectrum Farms February ‘14 - May ‘16

Centered on a small farm in Cullowhee, NC, Full Spectrum Farms is in operation to help adults with autism spectrum disorder find jobs and give work to those who have certain disabilities. The objective here is to assist these individuals create lives for themselves and earn an income and to be given a chance to do so when others have turned them away.

When first volunteering for the role on Full Spectrum Farms, I helped coordinate autistic adults and find out what their skills were. I contributed to creating Facebook profiles for them that would list their expertise and abilities to help them get hired on at other places.

After a few months, I also helped revise the site’s Facebook page and website, monitoring both and posting diversified work associated with the work of FSF. I observed the actions of qualified employees and posted about them, including the daily life of what it was like on the farm, giving a general view to all those who were interested and bringing in more help through volunteering communities.
