Durable Walking Aid for Low-Income Countries, Team Member, ME 450, U-M

Fall Semester ‘16

?

?

Lead a team of four students to design and manufacture specialized crutches for use in low-income countries. We successfully extended the lifetime of the device using recycled car tires, increased functionality in rough, uneven terrain with an ergonomic base, and cut the pressure applied to the user's underarm in half by integrated a spring in the shaft.

Designed an Arduino controlled pressure sensing system to measure improvement.

Arduino Four-Bar Linkage, Team Member, ME 350, U-M

Winter Semester ‘16

?

Designed and manufactured a four-bar linkage capable of adjusting to reflect a variable laser onto a target using an Arduino control system.

Robotic Machine Player, Team Member, ME 250, U-M

Fall Semester ‘14

?

Worked on a team of five students to design and manufacture a remote controlled robot to pick up and deliver ping-pong balls.
