Summers of 2018 and 2019
The past two summers I have been grilling close to 100,000 hot dogs at a place you�ve probably never heard of but is one of the most popular go-to spots in my hometown of Larchmont, NY. Even celebrities like locals Matt and Kevin Dillon swing by from time to time, but they�re not very big tippers. When I�m not slinging dogs, cleaning stuff off the grill or secretly eating curly fries, I�m working undercover � sketching a screenplay based on all my crazy interactions with co-workers and customers.

In the summer of 2017, I had the opportunity to be mentored by Lori Lowe, a childhood actress (who acted in Caddyshack) and her partner, Rachel Jones (founding member of Axial Theatre), while working on their new film, The Third Act. In addition to absorbing every word of wisdom they shared, I attended script readings, about ten auditions and one day of shooting. I walked away from the experience with zero doubt that screen writing is my life�s calling.

The Bott Shoppe, owned by Laura Bott, is a unique combination of art gallery, gift store and design studio. In the summer of 2017, I helped Laura and her team by writing educational articles for their website (------------/), used InDesign and Photoshop to create various flyers and holiday greeting cards, and published blurbs for CityBurb Magazine, a great online source for people living in Westchester and New York City who want to discover cool things to see and do.
