I am passionate about fashion industry. I am looking forward in learning more about the fashion
industry. �
I do not have much background in the fashion world but, I am creating one for myself. My pass work
experience with MIMI MILLER WOMEN WEAR was a great one. I was able to organize pop events,
accompany my boss to all her manufacturer visits, to follow up with her production for Fall 2018/
Winter 2019. I made sample pieces of her scarves for the Winter 2019 collection, along side a dress for
MIMI. Moreover, we fabric test wash some of her Winter 2019 fabrics which was a great experience for
me, actually knowing the percentage of fabric shrinkage. I loved working with her as a team and part
of her business. What I did within my breaks from school and from my part time work was to work on
my personal designs. Based on that, I designed for myself, my husband and a few friends building my
skills. And I also did craft beats works for accessories. �
When growing up, fashion was not my dream career. I wanted to become a lawyer,but my aunt at that time forced me to focus on dress making which I did. Here I am today developing my own designs and looking forward in running my own fashion business in the future.
