I have 7+ years of hands on farm management experience along with academic studies in Sustainable Agriculture and Landscape Design. My experience includes many diverse systems that I have worked on and helped manage such as USDA/CCOF organic certified polycultures, perennial/annual diverse crop production, orchard work and animal husbandry (cows, pigs, chickens, turkeys, ducks, goats and sheep). I also have experience with managing and presenting workshops and forums for both student and faculty events. I also do personal research including grafting, tool making, companion planting, animal immersion in cropping systems, passive water system design, agroecology/permaculture techniques, etc. I always try to implement and practice real world application with those ideas. Landscaping and establishing small gardens has always been something I’ve enjoyed and have been routinely sought out for these tasks. My skills also include sustainable, regenerative and organic farm management experience covering all areas needed to run and maintain at a full production scale. This includes annual and perennial production. I am also fluent in tractor maintenance, repair and have logged thousands of hours driving and working various implements.
