Responsibilities include helping implement lesson plans and activities based on the school's academic expectations, philosophy, and mission statement. I guide student behavior through implementing the school's discipline policy while upholding high expectations. Help maintain communication with parents through personal conversations upon child's drop--off/pick-up and parent-teacher conferences. I provide care to the students at all times, demonstrating respect and value towards them as individuals. I serve food and supervise children during mealtimes.
Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the classroom through the organization of learning materials and light cleaning while encouraging the cleanliness of each child in the classroom through proper sanitation procedures, including hand washing, and toileting. I complete paperwork related to students, discipline, attendance, and interest areas. I also attend all weekly staff meetings.



Garfield Park Preparatory Academy January 2011- March 2011

Laid off due to lack of funding as a one on one Special Education Aide. But later I did work with the rest of the class in a newly developed special education classroom. I started this position last January and worked closely with the Special Education Teacher to come up with a behavioral plans that will help the students be more successful.




Every Child's Hope July 2007 – June 2010

Provided complete care for eight to ten residents in a group home. Did crisis intervention, skills building and behavioral modification for children that are mildly to moderately developmentally disabled and struggle with other mental health issues such as bipolar disorder and aspergers. Cooked meals and would oversee medical and hygienic care for patients. Built rapport with clients. Maintained accurate progress reports of behavior and therapy in resident daily log and attended weekly and monthly service plan reviews on each resident.

Amdocs Inc. May 2006 – December 2006

Administrative Assistant to Amdocs’ North America Legal Department, responsibilities included the organization and cleanup of NA Legal archives, scanning of new documents, setting up data profiles in the PCDOC electronic library along with data cleaning on older documents. Which included the physical cleanup of their archive on the premise of Amdocs.


Battelle July 2005 – December 2005


I served as a member of Battelle’s primary Tracing Department. Tracing, including electronic batch searches were conducted to locate participates that have moved. The National Death Index (NDI) searches were used to identify deceased participates. Those participates fond still living and remaining in the area were asked to participate in the follow-up data collection phase. In the short time working as a tracer for Los Angeles Latino Eye Study II study and Opening Doors Project (Survey to Assess Retention and Credential Achievement Impacts of Community College Students), I provided updated phone numbers for respondents and their contacts as well as new addresses for field interviewers.


MIMH (Missouri Institute of Mental Health) March 2001– December2004

Data Collector for the Mentoring/Strengthening Families and Strengthening Family Connections Project with Dr. Debbie Zand, as Evaluation Director and Mary Dugan, LCSW as SR Research Lab Specialist. I recruited participants, set up interviews, interviewed participates in their homes with a fellow data collector and tracked them when moved or the phone number was out of service along with data entry.
