Develop and present an educational outreach program for active Virginia Master Naturalist (VMN) members to obtain continued education hours.
Consists of a series of 5, two-hour long lectures on various topics discussing how to conserve and preserve our natural resources and adjust values and daily habits in order to live with minimal impact.
2013 Girl Scout Gold Award, Riverbend Park (Great Falls VA)
Design a permanent exhibit at the Information Center to raise awareness about the importance of native plants and insects in maintaining local ecological health
Create a native insect display case with complimentary brochures and built a self-sustaining Monarch Waystation/native plant garden to attract pollinators
Fall 2017-Present Program Designer at Banshee Reeks Nature Preserve (Leesburg VA)
Schedule, design and lead educational programs for various ages and audiences on topics such as stream health, pollinators, local ecology, conservation, etc.
