Emma Allison Scott
Hello! I am currently finishing up my last semester at the University of Colorado Boulder, with a psychology and philosophy degree. Throughout my school career I have learned quite a bit about the connection between human behavior and the environment and feel the field of psychology to be very important in understanding how we treat the environment, and possible future steps to reduce our impact on the planet. I interned at One Ocean Diving on the island of Oahu with Ocean Ramsey, where I helped collect data for shark research. I am an experienced freediver and PADI DiverMaster and hope to use these skills to eventually find work in the field of ocean conservation. I am hardworking, adaptable, willing to learn new things, organized, and good at getting along with others. I enjoy learning new things especially relating to the ocean and it's wonderful creatures. I would love to get the opportunity to learn more about whale shark research and to experience living in the Philippines.
