I am a passionate filmmaker looking to grow in his talents. At the moment I'm working on a documentary dealing with socio-economic issues. It’s to be themed around the family aspect and a sort of compare and contrast between groups. With this I plan on getting my name out there to higher platforms. I have worked on other documentaries before one called Undoc Dreams which was about immigrants workers in America and their lives. Another, Whipped which was on the BDSM lifestyle.
For Undoc Dreams I did the editing. I viewed their clips and we went for the angle of displaying how the “American Dream” is the dream that everyone basically wants (comfortable money, watch their children grow up, the norm). For Whipped it was a informational documentary where it was purely raw interviews explaining their experiences with clients.
Working on other documentaries dealing with blind people there wasn’t much of a visual if that makes sense, but I coming up with visuals to show and Hows for dealing with the blind community. As a candidate for the position I could really bring creativeness and abstract ideas to the table. I’m one to bring a new look to any situation as opposed to the obvious. Which, there is nothing wrong with, but what fun and thrill is there in knowing the outcome.
