I was the student lead for a small ecology lab studying the effect on landscape fragmentation on the soil-borne fungi associated with seeds. I was in charge of scheduling, inventory, and managing day to day operations. I collaborated with Dr. Hersh to create lab protocols, performed detail-oriented lab work, and mentored other students.

Summer 2017
I helped a postdoctoral researcher with her biochemical research on purifying the Dysferlin protein, in order to see it under an electron microscope. In this capacity, I executed delicate tasks with consistency and care (preparing samples for experiments, learning protein purification protocol and adapting it to each new target protein)
