PROFESSIONAL OBJECTIVE My goal is to become a Physical Therapist for dancers, which is crucial to the dance world. Despite that most nationally known companies have a stand by physical therapists and a small gym, regional companies cannot operate on that level with limited funding. With the degree in physical therapy, I wish to earn, I plan on pursuing the process of being the physical therapist to work with the regional dance companies to help them and their dancers reach their mission statement. So they can reach out, educate, and enrich their communities with performance art. I wish to make the path of recovery for dancers more accessible and fit to their needs as artists.

SKILLS Ballet Dancing Ballet has helped me to develop and understand the need for a comprehensive work ethic and how to successfully interface with people. In addition, it has helped me to gain an in-depth knowledge of the human body via my own conditioning in a studio as well as outside of a studio by practicing to better articulate my movements. Overall, my ballet experience has convinced that the need for humans to tell their stories via performance helps to preserve history and provide a forum thus impacting, enhancing, and enriching our culture.
