Researched efficacy of secondary plant metabolites of Olive Leaf Extract (OLE) as antimicrobial and elucidated its� potential mechanisms of action.
Demonstrated that OLE is an effective antimicrobial against Staphylococcus spp. and Bacillus spp. and suggested it acts as a protein synthesis inhibitor.
Documented findings in a scientific manuscript of publishable quality.

Explorations in Coastal Ecology Feb 2015

Conducted research project on Pelican diving behavior preference, and speculated findings in a research paper that examined Pelican anatomy and aerodynamics.
