To Stand.earth,

I am writing this cover letter regarding the open Administrative Associate position with Stand.earth in Portland. I am currently working as a National Recruiter for a large staffing agency where in my time here, I have handled full life cycle recruiting including onboarding as well as other various administrative tasks. I have gained a lot of great knowledge while working in staffing, especially at one that is so lively and values company culture as one of their top priorities in keeping a healthy and fun workspace going.

I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree majoring in General Social Science while minoring in Media Studies from the University of Oregon. I took countless Journalism and Social Media courses learning as much as I could about how to incorporate a corporate company onto social media platforms.

As stated on my resume, I have also previously worked as an Office Project Coordinator I was still attending the University of Oregon. My job was working in one of the University’s club offices in them main student hub on campus. I supported the two Directors who worked in the office with anything they needed from receptionist duties to assisting in projects.

I am highly organized and seem to work better when I’m constantly busy rather than waiting for a task to be handed to me. I get things completed in a timely manner and like to think of myself as a people person, helping out fellow coworkers/supervisors with whatever they need in order to keep the office humming.

While I full heartedly appreciate the knowledge I gained while working as a Recruiter for a staffing firm, I’m ready to get back to what I was doing previously which was helping an office thrive in any way that I can. Even during my time as a Recruiter, I found myself naturally gravitating to helping out the various managers in the office, getting involved in any event happening in my office I could.

Thank you for reading this cover letter and please let me know if you have any other questions about my experience/background. I look forward to hearing from someone soon and appreciate the opportunity to apply for this position.

Sincerely,
Elizabeth Kinsman
