Objective
To utilize my 26+ years experience in High Tech to engender enthusiasm for STEM subjects in young people. Also, through my life experiences, to pass along life skills to students.

Experience
Citizen Schools Citizen Teacher (Volunteer Role) - Co-Teaching Middle School students in STEM subjects after school.

Boston Partners In Education Mentor (Volunteer Role) - Mentoring High School students in STEM subjects.

Horizons for Homeless Children (Volunteer Role) - Playspace Activity Leader (PAL). 2 hours each week spending playtime with children at local shelter.

Marvell Technical Pre-Sales Support Engineer -
Supported sales team in securing Design-ins and Design-wins for ARM- based application processors.

Intel Technical Pre-Sales Support Engineer -
Assisted sales team with securing design-ins and design-wins for ARM-based application processors. Such processors are used in mobile phones and embedded designs. This included both technical presentations and trainings to engineers at prospective companies. It also included the authoring of articles for technical publications.

Intel Technical Pre & Post Sale Support Engineer -
Supported sales team in securing design-ins and design-wins for desktop boards. Companies supported included IBM and Gateway.

IBM Technical Pre-Sales Support Engineer -
Supported sales team for mobile, desktop and server hard disk drives. Worked with engineers at outside companies to answer their technical questions and to help to secure design wins.

IBM Logic Design Engineer -
Designed chips, boards and backplanes for Mainframe Storage Controllers. Included an Outstanding Technical Achievement Award for Fiber Optic board designs.

Amdahl Logic Design Intern -
Logic design for IBM plug-compatible mainframe computers.
