DUTIES
Instruct students individually and in groups, using various teaching methods, such as lectures, discussions, and demonstrations.
Assess training needs through surveys, interviews with employees, focus groups, or consultation with managers and instructors.
Design, plan, organize, or direct orientation and training programs for employers.
Observe and evaluate students' performance, behavior, social development, and physical health.
Obtain, organize, or develop training procedure manuals, guides, or course materials, such as handouts or visual materials.
Monitor, evaluate, or record training activities or program effectiveness.
Plan and conduct activities for a balanced program of instruction, demonstration, and work time that provides students with opportunities to observe, question, and investigate.
Prepare objectives and outlines for courses of study, following curriculum guidelines or requirements of states and schools.
Develop alternative training methods if expected improvements are not seen.
Evaluate training materials prepared by instructors, such as outlines, text, or handouts.
Attend meetings or seminars to obtain information for use in training programs or to inform management of training program status. Monitor training costs and prepare budget reports to justify expenditures.
Supervise, evaluate, or refer instructors to skill development classes.
Schedule classes based on availability of classrooms, equipment, or instructors.
Devise programs to develop executive potential among employees in lower-level positions.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Identified of the educational needs of others, developed formal educational or training programs or classes, and taught or instructed others as the elected Department Chairperson.
Observation, research and implementation of highly effective teaching and training methodologies improved performance outcomes for students and staff. These activities led to my being selected as Innovative Teacher of The Region and District Teacher of The Year award.
Developed constructive and cooperative working relationships with staff and students maintaining them over time.
Developed new national certification training program and combined it with highly effective industry managed project-based learning. Selected as Teacher Leader and Mentor for the state of Missouri's New Teacher Institute.
