Dear Hiring Manager,
Please accept my resume and cover letter for employment. If hired, I believe my experience will prove to be an asset and will align with your mission.

Early in my career, I moved from Flagstaff, Arizona to Arkadelphia, Arkansas and started a design business. The business flourished and had contracted with a statewide sporting goods company. Three years after the business had acquired vendor contracts for a major retailer in Arkansas, it was sold. My success as a small business owner, and statewide outreach coordinator would be an asset to any organization navigating through today’s growth in communications.

My home now is in Little Rock. My career in design blossomed at UAMS, Creative Services. The opportunities in design included working across multi-level platforms; web, print, video, photography. I have received special recognition for web design, digital and print design. I would love to share them with you.

With background experience in communications and in graphic design, my enthusiasm for developing strategies grew. The information would help me become a smarter designer and architect of communication strategies. To fulfill my professional goals, I was driven to gain more knowledge about gathering the research data and how it was used. I excelled in the courses listed below. All of the courses listed, explored using data, measurement and analysis to accelerate outcomes.

George Washington University, Washington, D.C., Graduate Studies in Public Relations Strategies, MAPRS
-PR Relations, Principles & Practices: The Foundations of PR Strategy & Tactics
-Ethical Standards in Public Relations and Public Affairs
-Research Methods For Public Relations and Public Affairs

I have designed promotional materials for rural health units (UAMS, Rural Health Programs) and educational remote units focused on improving education and healthcare throughout the state for over 15 years. Experts collaborated their knowledge and surveyed technical capabilities, used rich, informed content, and population demographics. Together, they have opened the door to new possibilities for communication strategies.

Please contact me for any information that would provide a wider scope of my capabilities. My design portfolio is available upon request.

Sincerely, Lori Dimond
