• Instruct two sections of First-Year Writing courses per semester, covering literary fiction and nonfiction (English 1201/1202)
• Create a syllabus, including classroom policies, class readings, assignments, and drafting three to four paper prompts
• Lesson plan for three classes per week, focusing on either writing workshops or class discussion based on the readings

• Read and evaluate 20+ stories a week, either rejecting it, forwarding it to another editor, or sending it to the editor-in-chief
• Hold a biweekly conference call with other fiction editors to discuss potentially publishable stories and other agendas
