Constituency Intern [June 2016- August 2016 | January 2019- March 2019]
Windsor West MPP’s Constituency Office
• Maintain the updated knowledge of the party’s policies and the caucus’ position on topics of interest and concern to the MPP.

Policy and Programs Assistant [May 2018- August 2018]
Ministry of Education (Toronto, Ontario)
• Led an all-encompassing jurisdictional scan to identify best practices of curriculum development, assessment and implementation, and the inclusion of indigenous history into the curriculum, through comparing provincial jurisdictions across Canada, and carefully selected international jurisdictions.
• Drafted the communication plan, decision notes and the corresponding approvals package for the implementation of American Sign Language (ASL) and Langue des Signes Québécoise (LSQ) as a second language into the Ontario public school curriculum.
• Led the analysis of the public correspondence letters, through the quantitative analysis of qualitative data to highlight the most pervasive issues of the public with the Ontario Health and Physical Education curriculum.
• Worked in collaboration with education officers to quantitatively analyse the implementation of ESL framework by 48 school boards.
• Collaborated with the senior policy advisors to draft transition issue notes about PIRLS (Progress in International Reading Literacy Study) for the (new) incoming provincial government.
• Reviewed policy briefs and decision notes while shadowing at the Assistant Deputy Minister’s Officer (ADMO) and assisted the ADMO staff with administrative tasks.
• Assisted the senior policy leads in drafting the policy briefs, decision notes, approval memos, issue notes and communication strategies for ongoing policy projects.

International Joint Commission- Great Lakes Regional Office (Windsor, Ontario)
• Led the team for the preparation of the watching brief for Water Quality Board regarding the issue of nuclear repositories on the Great Lakes Basin.
• Collaborated on request for proposals (RFPs) for various contemporary issues affecting the Great Lakes region.
• Assisted the Science Advisory Board and the Water Quality Board by performing the required preliminary and secondary research for ongoing projects of the Commission, and editing the proposal drafts for these projects. 
RESEARCH PROJECTS
RESEARCH ASSISTANTSHIPS:
Analysing the formation of Political Dynasties in Indian Politics [June 2016- April 2018]
Department of Economics, University of Windsor
• Studied and analysed the reasons for the formation of political dynasties in India’s democratic system of governance, through analysing data from Lok Sabha one to sixteen (i.e. the ongoing session then). [*Lok Sabha is the Lower House in the Indian Parliament.]
• In order to achieve the desired objective, collected and analysed quantitative data on various variables ranging from the number of terms served by elected members, to their past and future relatives in elected positions from the same or different constituencies.
• The purpose of this project was to analyse the patters and the underlying reasons for the formation of political dynasties in post-colonial Asian Democracies using the case study of India, through a qualitative understanding of the quantitative data collected on the elected members of the Indian parliament.

Analysis of the different media campaigns for the 42nd Canadian Federal Election [January 2015- April 2015]

• Proposed the establishment of persuasive political message strategy for campaigning, through coding the sampled qualitative data using surveys, campaign websites and grassroots media organizations, into quantitatively accessible data.
• Presented the research chair (Dr. Richard Lewis) with a pre-eminent strategy for effective campaigning as established through comparative data analysis of various campaigning tools used by Prime Ministerial candidates for the 2015 Canadian Federal elections.
• The outcomes of the research were later verified by the election result.

• Responsible for holding office hours every week and being available to students through email, to help them out with difficult concepts in the course.

• Assessed and responded to the needs of 16 residence students on my floor and 125 students in the building, and served on Resident Assistant Selection Committee.
• Planned, organized and implemented educational, social, and recreational programs for the students of the building. Also, counselled students on personal, and academic concerns.
• Enforced and upheld university policies, held monthly floor meetings, and managed various administrative duties including conflict resolution, incident reports, room transfers and maintenance requests.
