Answered main switchboard phones and directed all calls, including providing information and directions regarding the base, front desk reception to include greeting clients, informing counselors of client’s arrival, greeting new military personnel, providing them with information and welcome packets, scheduling them for orientation meetings and base classes, assisting clients with faxing and copying materials, opening and closing of the office.

Responsible for bookkeeping and payroll of thrift store, to include doing monthly balance sheet of all sales and consignments and drafting checks to consigners and employees for payment.
03/12-07/12: Colonial Honda, Chester, VA-Receptionist/Admin Assistant
Answered main switchboard and directed all phone calls for the dealership, assisted at cashier’s desk when needed; greeted and assisted all customers in paying their service bills, audited and utilized main cash drawer, to include doing daily deposit and doing all cash, check, and credit card transactions for both customers paying their bills and sales staff taking deposits for vehicle purchases, opening and closing out main cashier’s desk. Full working knowledge of both Reynolds and Reynolds and ADP systems. Front desk reception, management and operation of spa, handled all telephone calls and booked appointments for 6-7 technicians, greeted and received all clients of the spa who came in for services, ran point of sale computer at front desk, handled all sales transactions, ordered, presented, and organized all retail items and products for sale in the spa, did inventory and intake receiving of all spa retail items, did the billing for all retail and professional items in the spa, did various financial reports to include the weekly revenue report for the spa, did daily productivity reports for the technicians, did monthly reports on new members of the spa and sports club, did twice monthly payroll reports for all technicians, all in Microsoft Excel, and submitted to financial department, created Power Point presentations for weekly spa meetings outlining productivity goals, organized all paperwork and files.
