PROJECTS
Digital Clock
- Developed schematics on OrCad which were simulated and analyzed on PSpice to verify functional correctness. Design followed a certain set of specifications to meet the needs of a consumer.
- Assembled clock on a PCB board and enclosed it in a plastic covering to secure the components.
- Obtained experience soldering, debugging, and taking measurements using oscilloscopes, voltmeters and digital multimeters.
CAD projects
- Designed and dimensioned the parts of a Segway and planned out the materials required to build it to meet consumer needs with reasonable production costs. Sketched and assembled the Segway on PTC Creo and carried out a motion simulation. Authored a detailed report on the project.
- Collaborated with a team of 4 to utilize knowledge on linkages to brainstorm several designs for an easily accessible backpack storage system for a wheelchair and chose the one that best met the client’s need. Designed and assembled the mechanism on SolidWorks and adjusted as necessary.
Numerical Analysis, Matlab programming
- Approximation methods: Bisection, fixed point, modified and non-modified Newton Raphson, modified and non-modified Secant, Steepest Ascent and Descent, Parabolic Interpolation methods.
- Ordinary Differential Equations: Solved ODEs using a combination of shooting method, Euler’s method, Bisection method and Runge-Kutta.
