I am? eager to work with marginalized populations and expand my existing knowledge of racial, gender identification, and ethnic intersectionality. I have extensive experience with performance outreach and am extremely passionate about equal access to the arts for all populations. As a broadway professional who has been working in the industry for over ten years I have learned, in real time, the gaps in my own college training and how the industry has evolved since I graduated. With a particular expertise in Musical Theatre performance, I am passionate about making the new generation of actors ready for the professionalworld.A? ctorsmustbeempoweredtobuildtheirownunique artistry and imbue themselves with listening skills to compete during thesonicparadigmshifthappeningintheatretoday.Hence,I? have developed curriculum to address the shifting industry which can be tailored to myriad settings.

EXPERIENCE
The Great Composers of the twentieth century: A Research and Rehearsal Project, N? ew York Conservatory for the Dramatic Arts Fall 2018
I wrote and developed a research and rehearsal project for the incoming freshman at the New York Conservatory for the Dramatic Arts which pertained to some of the most influential composers of the theatre cannon from the twentieth and twenty first centuries. The goals involved:
-Emerging with an in depth understanding of a major Broadway composer
-Cultivating substantive and creative research tools and methods to be used throughout the students academic and professional careers -Transforming data collectioned into a creative, independent project wherein which students integrated the academic research done, musical numbers learned, and pulled from his/her/their own idiosyncratic talents to tell a unique story about a composer.

Arts Advocacy Political Campaigning
Over the course of a semester, I taught a Theatre History class the covered the turn of the twentieth century through today. In order to be successful in any field, one must have a command of knowledge on its history and context for that history within the world. The class included a collaborative and hands-on approach in order to better engage ?tactile learners.
Musical Theatre Scene Study, N? ew York Conservatory for the Dramatic Arts
Fall 2018-2019
I taught an acting class called M? usical Theatre Scene Study?. Each student was assigned a scene and we coached them in class. We focused on a variety of technical approaches and the students were required to be both fully present in and rehearse the work we had done. When students were not on working their scenes, they were required to follow along in the script so that we, as a class, continued to work on script analysis. They were expected to be receptive and maintain a positive attitude. As important as being exposed to a variety of acting techniques to enhance storytelling techniques and tools for more deft script analysis, I also sought to cultivate resilience and expansive creativity in my students. The reality is only a select few will go on to be professional actors who m? ake it at the highest level, so I believe it is part of my job to assist students in the ways that their theatre experience could be parlayed into broader communication skills which could be used in the workforce.
Political Campaigning: The Hillary Clinton and Max Rose Campaigns
2016 - Fall 2018
During the Presidential race of 2016, I became involved in organizing and executing press events for Broadway performers to reach out to voters in swing districts for the Hillary Clinton campaign. On my days off from Wicked, I would travel to Pennsylvania and coordinate political concerts with staff in the Milford area. During the 2018 Congressional race, I lead and trained canvassing operations for the Max Rose campaign in the NY-11 District.
Creating Character: a masterclass?, N? ew York-T? heatre Teacher
February 2016 - August 2017
During my time as Nessarose in W? icked? broadway I frequently taught, on a near weekly basis, master classes I created for visiting school groups from out of town. Relegated to a three hour period, we deconstructed a play or musical focusing on the question: w? hat are the necessary elements in creatingadynamicstory?E? mployinganumberofexercises, weexplored the initial processes of building a character and how that character propels the story of the play forward. ahead of time and I in turn taught them basic staging as a vehicle to bring the character work we had done throughout the class to life.
A Rehearsal Workshop: a masterclass ?, N? ew York T? heatre teacher
February 2016 - August 2017
I similarly taught this master class to visiting school programs and acting companies during my tenure at? Wicked? and there after. While many young people emerge from school abundantly talented, it can be quite detrimental to their careers if they do not yet understand the complex dynamics of the professional rehearsal process. A more sophisticated version of my Creating Character masterclass, this class is geared for seniors preparing for the more competitive world of college or young actors already in the professional realm. This class focuses on the questions I have found pivotal to my success as a working actor: w? hat does it mean to be an actor a director wants *i? n the room*?? What is your added value? How do you cultivate that value? W? e focus on the collaborative creative process of evolving a character once you are cast in a role. ?How do the ideas you have generated on your own interact with the choices of your fellow actors with whom you are sharing the stage? How do you co-create a scene with another actor? What happens if you dont agree with a scene partners choices? What is the professional way to handle artistic incongruities? How do you translate and implement directors notes? ? I simulate a rehearsal environment so that the students can have the opportunity to be exposed to and ask questions about, a professional rehearsal.
