Atlantic Hope 2017 Humanitarian Aid training simulation March 2017
In depth, international humanitarian aid simulation at the Treasure Coast Public Safety Training Complex located in Fort Pierce, Florida
Partook in all levels of Incident Command leader roles including logistics, communication, planning and safety officers.
Prepared materials and worked with communities in the aftermath of a disaster event including response, recovery, damage assessment, the setting up of a field hospital.
Counselled, informed and prepared communities in the event future disasters
Participated and contributed in multiple negotiations with different aspects of a foreign country in crisis including military forces, armed opposition faction within a country and in country community leaders.

Emergency Preparedness and Management Capstone Project Jan 2017-May 2017
Worked with a group of peers, spanning over different disciplines in the fields of Emergency management homeland security and cyber security or 15 weeks.
Client director of the University at Albany office of Environmental health and Safety, concerned with threats to campus safety, both students and physical campus.
Researched multiple different types of disasters, narrowing down those applicable to our campus; taking into account all on campus and surrounding factors and resources
Including examples of how other school reacted, drawing from these case studies we were able to give a detailed analysis and recommendations on different situations.
We compiled all data and findings into multiple formats including, literature review, final report findings and recommendations and finally a powerpoint presentation with our client and other department heads


Independent Research Seminar Jan 2017-May 2017
Independently designed a thought experiment or thesis statement relating to Emergency preparedness, homeland security or cybersecurity.
“What Is The Distribution Of Aviation Accident Around In And Around Airports, Radiating Out To Within 20 Miles?” follow up questions “What Were The Causes Of These Incidences?” “Where There Ground Fatalities?” “Should You Feel Safe Living Within X Miles Of An Airport”
Researched the instances of my questions and incorporate already researched conclusions into my report.
Collected multiple variables on over 300 accidents, cataloged in MS Excel and visually expressed in different maps, graphs and charts.
Analyzed and interpreted data into both a detailed report and concise powerpoint, then presented in front of colleagues
Atmospheric Science Experience
