Throughout my professional career, I have been expected to meet deadlines, reach quotas, and set personal goals—all which I have done through outstanding professionalism, responsibility, teamwork and organization. Each job that I have held, has come with increasing responsibility and I have always encouraged and embraced the challenge. I have a deep-rooted passion and strong skill for using my creativity and abilities to think outside the box and solve problems before they even arise. I believe that my experience has given me the knowledge and tools to truly understand the importance of standing out from the rest. I pride myself on my ability to wear multiple hats and my focus and self- motivation, but also have the ability to collaborate and excel as part of a team.
At Venue Magazine, I was given access to the company's WordPress, and I was expected to write daily original articles on current-topics, in both Spanish and English. In addition, I was given the responsibility to run the Magazine's social media handles in order to promote the magazine, and advertisements from sponsors. I was also given many opportunities to conduct interviews with several actors, producers, and celebrity personalities.
I am currently an intern at Alyssa Perez Public Relations. My main responsibilities include copywriting (press releases, client bios, blogs, website copy) as well as client relations, dealing with their day to day needs and accompanying the team to meetings, where I display confidence in my abilities and tactfully sharing my thoughts and suggestions. I have secured impressive coverage for clients both in print and online, as I am not afraid of a cold-call and media pitching. The agency curates and assists with various events throughout the year and I always bring an innovative vision to the scope of the event to take it to the next level, adding that spark necessary for an unforgettable experience.

Throughout my professional experiences I have gained endless amounts of knowledge; both in professional workplaces, and the classroom. My experiences have lead me to learn that it important to have a balance of professionalism, collaboration, and respect for others and their ideas, all while being able to maintain my own individuality and creativity. I have always been a team player, I was on a traveling competitive cheerleading team from when I was in 2nd grade, until I was captain of the varsity cheerleading in high school. From a young age, being a part of a team sport instilled the importance of working as a part of a whole, which entails teamwork, and the contributions of my own individual hard work, dedication, discipline, and passion. That mentality, coupled with the organization, responsibility, individual discipline, client relationship skills, understanding, dedication, patience and respect that I have acquired form working in professional settings; has instilled in me the necessary communication and leadership qualities of a highly-functioning, hard-working, modern professional.
