I love creating moments and spaces that lead to life altering experiences for my clients. As a recent UC Berkeley graduate with a background in social media management, analysis, and creative writing, I strive to invent new and engaging ways of communicating messages to diverse populations. I want to work with a company that collaborates with my efforts to reach out to people directly to better understand how they feel - while also pushing me to create content that reflects a broader mission of inclusion and creative excellence.

Social Media Manager and Equity & Inclusion Officer| CalSLAM at UC Berkeley
Advertised CalSLAM, UC Berkeley’s only spoken word and poetry organization, and its events via Facebook, Twitter, and “ground-game” communication.
Conducted research on the demographics of the “slam” community and how it interacts with and impacts performers of color.
Prepared a marketing strategy based on face-to-face interaction with underrepresented or minority groups, with the goal of increasing representation and event attendance. Achieved a significant change in event demographics once platforms and marketing techniques were switched.

Marketing Intern and Social Media Manager | Beiter
Wrote scripts for and directed short commercials. Successfully increased brand exposure via social media platforms. Tracked YouTube page traffic and scheduled upload times using peak viewership algorithms.
Played a critical role in helping Beiter, a company well-established in Hong Kong, branch out and creat a subsidiary in California, USA.

Restorative Justice Practitioner | Restorative Justice Center

Implemented a new paradigm of harm response: providing a humane and communication-based alternative to punitive measures.
Acted as liaison between the Intra-Fraternity Council in order to hold the Greek community accountable to UC Berkeley’s community standards.
Ensured that members re-entered their community environment after treatment.
Co-instructed a UC Berkeley course educating students in the function of restorative justice in schools, prisons, and cases of sexual violence

Bike East Bay Campaign Intern | Metropolitan Transportation Commission
Selected as one of thirty participants to intern for the Metropolitan Transportation Commission.
Researched the impacts of gentrification on local Bay Area residents i norder to implement sustainable infrastructures. Campaigned and advocated for Measure BB, a bill that later passed in support of cycling infrastructure projects.
Assisted in the planning of PedalFest through advertising and speaking with local businesses, an annual event that attracts over two hundred Bay Area locals.

Assistant Debate Coach | Bay Area Urban Debate League
Recruited, trained, and supported high school debaters at Lionel Wilson College Preparatory Academy.
Taught students the nuances of international relations, government intervention and social movements within the U.S. Mentored students and provided academic, social, and emotion support to assist in college preparation
