Trained and worked as a server for Cracker Barrel Old Country Store. Served customers in a timely and efficient manner while keeping a great attitude towards customers and maintaining their happiness.
Duquesne Center for Student Involvement, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania — Office Assistant

Assisted in normal office duties such as answering the phone, standard deliveries across campus, and file management. Met with students either on the phone or in-person to help answer their questions regarding involvement on campus.

SALT Painting, Saegertown, Pennsylvania — Painters Assistant
June 2018 - August 2018
Worked as an industrial painter for summer work. Learned useful skills like painting techniques and other construction skills such as the assembly of scaffolding. I also gained a thorough understanding of the importance of teamwork and communication in an industrial work setting, which can be applied to any other workplace.

UPMC Western Psychiatric Hospital, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania — Student Behavioral Associate
April 2019 - July 2019
Observed and assisted adult mental patients on the General Adult Unit of UPMC Western Psychiatric Hospital. Met regularly with head nurses and doctors to discuss and implement treatment plans for each individual patient. The duration of employment was short-lived due to scheduling conflicts through the summer months while I was away from the city.




INTERNSHIP EXPERIENCE

Avante Center for Counseling and Psychological Services Inc., Meadville, Pennsylvania — Summer Intern
May 2018 - August 2018
Assisted in the administration and scoring of the Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale (WAIS) and Wechsler Memory Scale (WMS) to older adults. Trained by Kimberly S. Coddington, Ph.D., on how to score and interpret results from each test and compile them into clinical reports. I also received teaching on memory and intelligence from a neuropsychological standpoint throughout the duration of the internship.
Arsenal Family and Children’s Center, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania — Fall Intern
August 2018 - December 2018
As a working member of the childcare staff, I had close relationships with each of the children and made observations on both their cognitive and social growth. I would help assess many aspects of the children, including fine motor skills and critical thinking. Throughout the internship, I composed several progress reports for a spotlight child, which strengthened my ability to translate observations to paper in an articulate manner.
