Field Experience
• Farrier Helper (current)
• Assist farrier with pulling shoes and finishing nails, calm and restrain horses being shod and
trimmed, clean up after work.
• Observe farrier trimmining and shoeing techniques for future apprenticeship.
• Research Assistant/ Barn Worker at Penn State Poultry Education and Research Center (current)
• Assist in applied research projects of poultry nutrition and management.
• Weigh chicks, mix feeds, collect samples, manage litters, clean pens, and enter data.
• Veterinary Room Technician at Lewisburg Veterinary Hospital (May- August 2020)
• Obtain histories from patients, take patients to exam rooms, restrain animals for medical exams.
