Creative|PR Girl
To whomever this may concern:
I am Claudia Fajardo-Rodriguez, an incoming fourth year student at St. John's University. I reside in Queens, New York which leaves me accessible to any/all office works. Though I am still a full time student - it is online therefore I have more than enough time around my schedule to also have a full time job. I've been taking time to specifically focus on Communications + Public Relations.
My previous experience entails many of retail but in the past three years I have been working closely with creatives and their brands. From interning, personal assistants to event planning, being a PR Coordinator and now VP of Operations - these roles I
obtained helped me with my managerial/team leading skills. I have planned plenty of events in short notice and ran a NYC office. I want to continue to expand my knowledge on the industry + gain experience in big names/companies. I believe that I am capable of the many tasks/responsibilities given when working at your company. Throughout my couple of years working, some highlights of my experience include:
• Brand Research for projects, press releases, etc.
• Account executive of beauty account, college blog + life coach AND executive of all NY clientele + employees.
• Come up with different pitches, PR strategies and/or press releases
• Handle head publicist calendar, socials, emails, flights, and influencer outreach
• Organization of files, meetings, events, etc.
• Plan influencer events (parties, vacations and shows) - Some vacations previously worked on are Bora Bora +
Costa Rica with Tarte.
• PR Mailers + Sendouts to influencers at Tarte.
• Help plan collection release parties
• Work with designer(s), photographers, and press printing companies for print + events.
• Plan with founder/boss of company to put together events - i.e. fashion shows, pop up shops, creative meetings,
parties, brunch party, panels, etc.
• FashionGPS/Launchmetrics
• Cision
• Work under an Account Executive for multiple high end fashion brands doing pullings, gifting, sample
trafficking, etc.
• Assist on NYFW show 'Brock Collection'
• Answer phone calls + emails - also hold phone interviews and/or meetings.
