PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
MUSIC DIRECTOR and MUSIC TEACHER, K-12 2007 to present
The Orchard School and Bronx Academy of Promise New York, NY
Instructs voice, piano, guitar and percussion lessons in the one-on-one and group setting. Organizes and directs seasonal concerts showcasing every student.
Records students and groups in the in-campus recording studio using Reaper. Works with students on the spectrum and with Autism.
Recruits, interviews, and trains Music Department staff including volunteers. Plans and teaches English Language instruction daily, in addition to daily duties.
Led international festivals and trips throughout Austria, Germany, Australia and Hawaii.
Grant writer, networked with companies, organizations and individual donors on $500,000 grants throughout the school year and over the summer.

MUSIC DIRECTOR/CHURCH ORGANIST 2002 to present
St. Luke’s, Atonement, St. John’s Westchester, NY Directed the youth and senior choir and prepared them for weekly performances. Contracted Syracuse Symphony Members for high services and seasonal performances. Responsible for seeking out new talent for church performances and coaching musicians in individual sessions.
