I spent 5 years teaching IB Chemistry in China, 3 of which were in at the top international school in Shenzhen and 2 were in a more rural international school near Chengdu
For the past three years my students in Shenzhen achieved outstanding scores on the IB chemistry exam
At Idyllwild Arts Academy in California, I developed a hands-on and creative chemistry curriculum designed around the needs of an artistic student population made up of 50% international and 50% domestic students
I have mentored numerous students in chemical analysis, laboratory techniques, chemical research and reporting
Other subjects taught include biology, physics, environmental science, and design technology
Extensive laboratory experience including laboratory design, chemical storage, ordering supplies, equipment maintenance and repairs
