OBJECTIVE:
Obtain a position to further my knowledge in the fields of marine biology as well as gain experience as an aquarist. In addition I want to learn how to perform proper research, fish husbandry, and maintain exhibits. Finally I want to perform research and teach the community about the marine wildlife that is in their backyard.

EDUCATION:
• Colorado State University, Fort Collins (September 2014- June 2015)
Zoology Major and Business Minor; GPA: 3.0
• Cuyamaca and Grossmont College (August 2015- June 2017)
Biology Major as a transfer; GPA 3.0
• University of California, Santa Cruz (September 2017- present) (projected graduation date June 2019)

RELEVANT EMPLOYMENT EXPERIENCE:
• Tank Cleaning for UCSC (May 2018- present)
Tank cleaning for UCSC’s dolphin tanks which provides experience for the upkeep of aquariums. This is done weekly at UCSC’s Coastal Campus on a volunteer basis. I have completed 8 aquarium dives at UCSC. Also completed basic feeding sessions after completing tank cleanings with trainers.
• Joan Embery’s Pillsbury Ranch (August 2010- present)
Volunteering for 3 years and working for her for 6 years, feeding and making diets daily, keeping daily records/ veterinary records for state and government permits, cleaning enclosures, speaking to the public about conservation of species and habitat conservation, as well as training animals for conservation shows she does for both private institutions as well as the San Diego Zoo
RESEARCH EXPERIENCE:
• Foraging Behavior and Distribution Study of Urchin (September 2018)
Produced a research paper on the distribution and foraging behavior of A. lixula and P. lividus in STARESO Research Center harbor (Corsica, France)

I have also been on a dive in the Monterey Bay Aquarium open water tank 5-25-2018 to do species count, observation, as well as familiarize us as scientific divers what tank diving with a glass viewing wall
