I have a multinational perspective, having been born and brought up in Hong Kong as an adoptee to English and American parents. I have a triple citizenship: Chinese, English and American Enabling me to connect with many nationalities and have a globally rounded perspective
PROJECTS
-Invited to attend the Corpus Christi biomedical masterclasses by Cambridge University, placing second in their ‘Women In Science Festival’ for my presentation on the naked mole rat as the only animal immune to cancer.
I was given this award for “my attention to detail, brilliant verbal communication and ability to think quickly when answering the professors and audiences quick fire questions".
Invited by the Confucius Institute in 2014 to participate in a month-long language and culture programme in Changzhou province, China.
EXPERIENCE
Assistant stylist
2020
Working alongside head stylist Scott Clark I helped to call in and reserve clothes to be worn by the pussycat dolls at three events: Saturday night live with ant and dec, a performance at GAY club soho and at the BBC one show. I helped with hand sewing, alterations, organising and cleaning the dressing rooms and general assistance to the dolls and Scott.

Yoobi Sushi
Worked very briefly for yoobi sushi helping to make the sushi, take and process orders in house and online and clean dishes etc.

Gave me experience as a retail stylist in helping to come up with different store presentations and as a cashier.
Waitress and bartender at The Real China restaurant and bistro

This gave me the experience of working under extremely busy, pressurised conditions and how to deal with difficult customers.
Assistant medical supervisor at the Royal Free hospital, London
2017-2018
Allowed me to improve my transcription and experience allocating/organising my time to fit a hectic schedule.
Alongside this, I work well with all ages and have done regular community work
-at Berkhampstead primary school which included helping the children in lessons as well as leading and coordinating whole class activities.
-as a sales assistant at the sue Ryder charity, cheltenham
-attending to the elderly at a local nursing home
I believe this has tested my patience and willingness to persevere when an individual is being difficult.
SKILLS
Computer skills
Experience in Adobe photoshop, Lightroom and Indesign.
Communication skills
I have been given multiple leadership responsibilities:
- house prefect and management committee of my school boarding house
-Director and Conductor of A 60 strong choral ensemble with a small band
-head of my class
-most significantly: global ambassador for my school, which consisted of organising all international events for both new and old pupils to help integration and to create a culturally diverse environment.
Other skills
Music scholar at cheltenham ladies college, specialising in the piano (grade 8, having a distinction at grade 7 and below) and viola (grade 7)
-multiple piano prize winner at the Cheltenham Festival of performing arts.
-In my final year at Berkhampstead prep school, I attained both the humanities and music award cups.
INTERESTS
I am an active sportswoman and have represented both the Gloucestershire national squad and England junior squad for lacrosse as well as cheltenham ladies college in netball and hockey in Dubai, Australia and New Zealand.
I enjoy all types of artistic outlets from sewing, to sketching/painting, sculpting and photography and have received multiple interschool prizes regarding art.
I also have a strong interest in psychology and self help and enjoy researching, reading and watching informative videos to expand my knowledge in this sector and combine it with my opinion to write for my blog.
