EDUCATION
Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising 2018- In the Visual Communications Program, students learn the management, leadership, creative, and technical skills to visually communicate with the world. From window displays to fashion shows and gallery openings, Visual Communications pros are experts at conveying the perfect message or pulling together the perfect outfit and making it look like a work of art.
Academy for Global Studies at Austin High School 2013-2016 Throughout High School, I was in a magnet program specializing in project-based global studies work. All of my classes were advanced placement, and I had the opportunity to participate in several service trips in and outside of the US. These Included Costa Rica, Ecuador, and Washington D.C.
WORK EXPERIENCE
Personal Assistant / Stock Room: By George is a high-end boutique in a hip area of Austin, Texas. I worked primarily in the stock room where I unpacked shipments for new seasons from top tier designers such as Balenciaga and Saint Laurent. Additionally, I kept inventory and organized merchandise by designer, style, and size.
Wardrobe Intern: I was asked to intern for the Angel Haze Freedom Remix featuring Dorothy music video at CBS Studios which was directed by Lisa Bonet. I dressed over 200 dancers of all different ages in Raquel Allegra’s clothing during both days of the shoot.
Personal Assistant / Intern: PHLO is a small store based out of the Melrose Trading Post. My job duties included taking stock of inventory, creating social media posts, engaging with followers on social media, brainstorming new marketing strategies, helping with photo shoots, updating the website, and occasionally working in the physical store.
