To give a little background of myself, I am currently sophomore attending City College of San Francisco transferring to UC Davis majoring in Cognitive Science. I graduated from Saint Mary's College High School in Berkeley, California and spent my first year abroad in England. I had the opportunity to play in a soccer academy and study international business at York St John University. My interest include technology and how I can integrate my knowledge to further my understanding of the fast changing world of tech. I enjoy being able to involve myself in problem solving and puzzling situations. I am determined to find an internship which revolves around my interests or for experience with a professional business to form my career. In the recent years I have taught myself how to code Swift, and Python and because of that, I am currently working on a project to organize and create an application for my high school in which they can incorporate in their system. The goal is to then be able to structure our app so that other schools around the Bay Area utilize it as well. I have experience in using Microsoft word and excel with an understanding on how to use it in various forms. I consider myself as a self-driven and organized individual willing to work along side a team or individually in tough and challenging tasks. If you find that I lack the skills or talent for a certain position, I am determined to make it up with hard work and concentration.

My part time job includes working at Bay Club at the Gateway as a receptionist or camp counselor; San Francisco, California – 2015-present
During my High School years, my summers would be occupied with working at Bay Club in San Francisco as a camp counselor. I have been working there for three summers and recently I took the position of being an Activity Instructor. This job has taught me more about taking leadership while being responsible and organized with all the activities and campers. Aside from working as a Camp Counselor, I also worked as a concierge and receptionist for part of the most recent summer. Additionally, I was also the pizza chef at Alioto’s restaurant in San Francisco for the summer of 2017. Additionally, as a part time job, I work at the farmers market on weekends with Oya Organics in San Francisco and Berkeley.

I am currently completing my GE courses at my City College and hoping to transfer to an institution which has a strong background in the major of my choice. The courses I am taking include Calculus, computer science, english, and physiology classes. I currently have a GPA of 3.8 at City College and hoping to turn it into a 4.0 after finals!
Skills:
During my junior year in high school, I was selected to attend a leadership program at Saint Marys College due to my experience of being a student ambassador for my high school. During the program I was taught different skills in the area of being a facilitator and leader in group and individual tasks and projects.
I am able to speak up to 3 other languages which include French, Portuguese, and Spanish
Through an enrichment program that my high school provides, I had the opportunity to travel to Haiti twice to donate and help build a community center within the capital Port Au Prince. We work in partnership with the What If? Foundation, and related to curricular initiatives, the Vin We Non (Haitian Créole for “come and see”) Immersion explores the situation of the Haitian people, who live in a country with abundant natural resources, yet remains the poorest within the Western Hemisphere.
