Department of Radiology May 2018 – present
Provide coping support and procedural preparation to patients in Interventional Radiology, CT Scan, MRI, Fluoroscopy, Ultrasound and Nuclear Medicine.
Collaborate daily with interdisciplinary team members including: radiologists, radiology technicians, nurses, physicians and nurse practitioners.
Cover Child Life Services for the entire hospital on a rotational weekend on-call schedule. Respond to bereavement/end-of-life consults, emergent procedures and sibling support needs.

Emergency Department October 2012 – May 2018
Provided procedural preparation, support and distraction to children and families within a 75-bed Emergency Department including a level one trauma bay .
Planned and facilitated coping techniques, normalization activities and therapeutic play sessions to patients of all ages, developmental levels, diagnoses and diverse cultural backgrounds.
Supported patients, families and siblings through the bereavement process and in providing end-of-life keepsakes and legacy building activities.
Provided evening and weekend on-call child life services to all inpatient units.
Collaborated daily with an interdisciplinary team of attending and resident physicians, nursing and psychosocial support staff to ensure best practice efforts and delivery of family-centered care.
