Clinical Research Coordinator, Project Malaw i May -July 2017
Analyzed pathology reports from the Kamuzu Central Hospital (KCH) pathology database from January 2011
to February 2017 to create an updated pathological and clinical profile of breast cancer in Malawi .
Presented these findings at John B. Graham Student Research Day, Chapel Hill, NC .

Strominger Lab, Department of Stem Cell and Regenerative Biology
Conducted independent and collaborative research with graduate students and post -doctoral fellows.
Designed experiments, analyzed data, and presented findings in lab meetings.
Optimized a novel technique for the derivation of Regulatory T cells from mous e hematopoietic stem cells
using an in vitro co -culture system.
Gained experience with PCR, DNA purification, flow cytometry, Western Blot, cell culture, subcloning, and
animal work.
As PRISE Fellow (2014) and Harvard College Research Program Fellow (20 13), participated in weekly
seminars with lead researchers in the field; presented research orally at research symposium.

social workers, psychiatrists, and local businesses to offer pap smears to underserved patients
