As a maintenance helper my primary responsibilities were to make sure the offices were clean as well as the chapter meeting room. From time to time I’d go to the senior center and assist with the elderly. Which included cleaning, disinfecting, and sometimes preparation of food.
OFFICE AIDE/ LUKACHUKAI CHAPTER HOUSE
06/26/17-08/07/17
In addition to my job as a maintenance helper I took on the responsibilities of an office aide. My primary responsibilities as an administrative assistant was to answer phone calls and provide important documents to the community such as: proof of residency, employment applications, and applications for scholarships.
WEIGHT ROOM /GYM ASSISTANT COORDINATOR

While attending Dine College I enrolled into the Project Success Internship where I was placed at the gymnasium and the weight room. My role was initially just for filing and just general assistance. However I assumed some roles such as aiding the sports athletic teams, creating data sheets for the gym usage. I also worked on creating a ton of disposition forms which resulted in the disposal of a ton of things that cluttered the gym and weight room. This was a great way for me to enhance my organizational skills.
UNDERWATER CERAMICS ENGINEER

Underwater ceramics engineer also another way of saying dishwasher. I spent most of my summer in Bozeman, Montana washing dishes for a nice little respectable restaurant. This allowed me to gain the ability to actually work. My time management was fine-tuned, and I also know now that I can do strenuous amounts of work for long periods of times day after day.

A.A. EDUCATION/ CURRENT
Dine College
Although I have no ties to any clubs and have no employment here, I help a couple of students here with strength training. I help these students with their form and make sure they perform the exercise effectively and safely.
VOLUNTEER EXPERIENCE OR LEADERSHIP
I volunteered to be a first responder for JMI.JMI is a community event known as “Just Move It.” It’s a program that promotes healthy living and it’s another way to bring the community together. I rode a bike up and down the trail in case anyone needed any assistance. I also passed outthe refreshments at the end: water, fruits, granola bars, etc.
I also volunteered to help clean up the some of the homesteads in Canyon De Chelly to make sure no trash was washed away in some of the flash floods, it was also a great opportunity to help out some of the elderly folks who reside in the canyons. We also cleared some of the trails that lead in and out of the canyon to help protect and preserve my homeland. Every little bit helps.
