Understanding what is life in the sense of a computer code, simply what attracts me the most about bioinformatics in the first place.
I am so horned and highly motivated to apply for such prestigious internship, full of hope and motivation to be accepted in an Internship in Bioinformatics, since the opportunity fits me so much as all the requirements and the aspirations of the program matching my experience in the field of bioinformatics.

I have received a bachelor degree in communications and electronics engineering, from Tishreen university, Lattakia, Syria which is a field of study that is related to different sciences :physics, mathematics, statistics, and information Technology, with emphasis in bioinformatics and biostatistics, where I was ranked one of the top four "class honor students" with very good GPA (76.68%), and I currently working at the same university as an assistant lecturer at bio-engineering faculty, and a volunteer assistant researcher at Atomic Energy center (AECS).
I had recently got an online Master degree in "Web Technologies" from Syrian Virtual University (SVU), Damascus, Syria, through that, i had worked on Developing an interactive virtual system to improve Health awareness by rationalize the use of drugs using Augmented Reality Technology, and I had achieved an online Bioinformatics Micromasters degree that allowed me to take 12 credits of the Original Masters Program.
thus, I am still looking for a bioinformatics Master internship chance to finish my Master studies in bioinformatics as a complete program, that will allow me to complete my PhD studies in the future.
I had done a very useful workshop in biotechnology at Atomic Energy Center (AECS) at Damascus, Syria where we had a training learning about human cancer cell culture Techniques and applications ( RT-qPCR/ MTT assay/ cell culture).
I had studied a lot of bioinformatics online courses, having a very good training in programming with equivalent time in coding.
I have been very desirous of discovering health problems solutions on the molecular unit such as genome with my computer science ability, conduction projects using different programming languages such as (R, C++, java, and Python), with Good communication skills in English is compulsory.
From online classes, I’ve become familiar with NGS analysis, analyzing DNA sequences to find mutations and anomalies, understanding the important role protein structure plays in protein function and use statistical analysis tools, besides a good knowledge of the processes behind drug production, pharmaceutical industry’s ethics and regulation.
i am familiar with many programming and software skills:
C++, C#, R, BioConducter, Python, Java, Blast, EMBOSS, Galaxy, GMOD, GenePattern, Javascript, Html5, Css3, A------------, Php, Sql, Unity, Vuforia SDK Familiar with : SSS (Sequence Search Services), MSA (Multiple Sequence Alignment), and BSA Familiar with: Genbank, UniProt, SwissModel. PDB, DrugBank and many bioinformatics databases and web servers.

I have done many projects using different languages and tools: ? Visualization of multi-omic data using Sequencing Gene Set Enrichment Analysis using R package (GSAR ). ? Finding proportion of bases inside/outside exons using BioPython. ? Construct a phylogenetic tree using BLAST and The biojava3-phylo module. ? Manipulating protein structures, sequence alignments and phylogeny using licov C++ library.
I am seeking to apply my bioinformatics expertise in learning about pipelines for sequencing data analysis, and learning the main sequencing data processing techniques such as ChIP-Seq, RNA-Seq, ATAC-Seq, using the GALAXY technology and Git, with the use of singularity dockers and conda environment. With this varied yet focused background, I want to strongly enrich my future studies as my long-term plan is to receive a PhD in bioinformatics in the future.
I am sure that MPAC will offer me educational opportunities and experience to share multicultural values from one of the world's top Centers, which is straight to my long-term study's goals of building international connection and to learn how to perform bioinformatics analysis of sequencing data at a professional level.

Kind regards,
