• Design ,Assembly and Detailing of Dies and Enclosures using PTC CREO and SOLIDWORKS
• Review completed drawings for accuracy of dimensions
• Prepared drawings of new or improve the existing designs
• Assisted in the FEA analysis of test data relating to product design or performance
• Prepared bill of materials, cost estimates and evaluated feasibility of the parts
• Originate and coordinate scheduling and provide information and specifications to marketing and manufacturing departments
• Assisted manufacturing engineers and machine shop personnel in meeting established goals
PROJECTS
• Sonalika Tractor Fender
o Die Design for the tractor fender which involved 8 stages of tools including a Checking fixture
o The design consisted of 7 Dies and I was involved in 2 stages of the design
o Met the specified deadlines in designing the tool by using Siemens NX, Solidworks, AutoCAD
• Toyota Heat Shield
o The design, originally from Toyota, consisted of 3 stages of design and 10 dies.
o I was involved in all of the design stages including a Checking Fixture
o The specified deadlines have been met using Soliworks, AutoCAD and Siemens NX
• Eicher Chassis Modification
o It consisted of three stages of design and 6 tools
o Modification of an existing chassis design by Eicher Motors due to structural failure
o The design improvement and changes have met the deadlines using Solidworks, AutoCAD and Siemens NX

Internship VIZAG Steel Plant May 2013 – SEPT 2013

• Detail Study of different process involved in manufacturing Steel Bars and Billets from blooms
• The cast blooms from continuous casting department are heated and rolled in the two high speed and fully automated rolling mills namely Light & Medium Merchant Mill (LMMM) and Medium Merchant & Structural Mill (MMSM).
• The billets produced in LMMM are further rolled in Bar Mill / Wire Rod Mill (WRM).
• The finished products include wire rods & long products like reinforcement bars, rounds, squares, flats, angles, etc.

Under-Graduate Project: Spring 2014
Design and Analysis of Composite Piston
• The objective of this Project is to replace the AL-Alloy Piston with composite Piston since the Composite materials are excellent thermal conductors and also light weight compared to Alloys.
• For this we considered two types of composite materials. One is Carbon-Carbon (CIC) composite material and the other is Al-Sic Composite.
• Dimensions of the piston were taken from Automobile website (Hero-Honda), which is accurate to the Original.
• Designing of the piston is done using Solid works Software to which Al-Alloy and CIC composite were added.
• Since Composite material properties aren’t available in Software, we added the properties and the analysis is done.
• Compared the results with that of Al-Alloy Piston the Von-Mises Stress were higher in case of Composite Piston compare to Al-Alloy piston.

Graduate Projects:
Optimization of HVAC Systems Design for building in Chile (Conducted by ASHRAE) Fall 2016
• Main objective is to minimize the total cost of the building as a function of the optimum efficiency for the heating system, and the optimum coefficient of performance for the cooling system, the optimum duct or pipe diameters and fan or pump respectively.
• We done Optimization for building layout, Distribution system and finally Air-Conditioning unit.
• The Total cost must be below the owner’s budget.

Model of a Saturn V Rocket Spring 2016
• Used MATLAB software to code a Model of computational Saturn v Rocket, at various stages during its motion to moon starting at rest from the earth.
• The computational model is based on the simple Euler algorithm, and was programmed in Matlab.
• The computational results for position, velocity and acceleration were obtained and the results were drawn in graph with respect to time.

Dynamic Simulation of Watt 6-Bar linkage Mechanism Fall 2015
• The main aim is to study the dynamics and behavior of 6 bar Watt Mechanism.
• Designed using Pro-E and conducted the Dynamic Analysis to predict the joint reactions between the links.
• The goal is to attain a certain level of proficiency in dynamic modeling and simulation and to use the simulation results as a tool to carry out open-ended MBS designs.
