The Atlas Coffee House
2016-2019
As a barista at the Atlas Coffee House, I had my first, and longest experience with coffee. I learned traditional Italian preparation of espresso an espresso-based drinks, how to dial in espresso and other coffee preparations, various latte art designs, and spent several years honing my bar flow.
Diversity and Wellness Committee Member
2018-2019
I joined the Diversity and Wellness Committee for its premier year at Walla Walla University after being nominated to the position. This small group of students worked with the general study body cabinet and administration to provide information and put on events centered around mental health, sex/gender identities, and racial issues.
Chemistry Lab Teacher�s Assistant
2019
Primary responsibilities as a lab TA were to supervise student activity and to provide answers or assistance as needed. This position required thorough knowledge of the subject material, and the ability to communicate concepts in a way that suited different learning styles.
