WORK EXPERIENCE

VNYL MARKETING COORDINATOR JUNE 2017 - PRESENT
At VNYL I collaborate with the CEO and graphic designer to create new campaign and marketing strategies for featured artists and albums. My responsibilities include brainstorming strategies, then implementing the chosen strategy by developing creative assets for emails, social media posts, influencer marketing, videos, printed material, and case-specific forms. In order to ensure the effectiveness of these campaigns, I work closely with record labels, artists and buyers and am required to communicate skillfully in fast-paced, high-pressure situations. I am also entrusted with devising experiential marketing techniques. One example is the �Vinylgram��a service wherein customers can record a personal audio message cut to vinyl. I not only created this idea, but also do the cutting myself on my personal lathe. In addition, I have played an instrumental role in the development of an all-female branch of the subscription service, by brainstorming ideas, gathering talent, working on influencer programs, conducting interviews with bands and creating videos to promote this new service.

Because of the small size of the creative team at Mild West Productions, I performed a wide range of responsibilities, including unit production work, to assistant directing to creating email and social media strategies to help grow the company.

NIGHT OF THE LIVING FEST MARKETING COORDINATOR/BOOKER JANUARY 2015 - MAY 2017
Initially hired to create and maintain the social media channels for the music festival, I soon was promoted and became instrumental in helping book bands such as Of Montreal, Shannon and the Clams, Big Freedia and other indie artists.
LATHE CUTS STUDIO MANAGER JUNE 2014 - JULY 2016
As the studio manager for Lathe Cuts, my responsibilities included creating a social media presence for the company as well as reaching out to potential customers. I created relationships with Sub Pop, Burger Records, Coachella, Red Bull and others. I also assisted in booking live record cutting gigs for the company.
